My girlfriend and I got a dog a little over 2 months ago, she is a boxer/pitt bull mix. Every time we leave the house or go to bed or put her in her kennel she whines non-stop. She also pees her bedding. She won't pee if we don't give her any bedding but if we do she pees every time. It isn't like she is deprived of bathroom breaks, I took her out today before I left and in the hour I was gone she had already peed. I don't know what to do, I have tried making her kennel a happy place, by talking in an encouraging voice, and giving treats every time she is put in her kennel, but nothing seems to work.
From all I have researched it sounds like she has separation anxiety, but I can't seem to find a solution. Can anyone help?
