...teeth, and taking a shower.? I have come dangerously close to getting up and physically harming him. So far i have maintained my composure. I have gone to lengths many times to explaint to him why it is neccessary for him to do his chores. I have also explained that he will not have access to the telephone or the computer. He still continues with his relentless arguing. I finally have learnd to cope with this behaviour by shutting down and not responding to his "why" questions. Inside, however, I am deeply upset and saddened. I am a single mother trying the best she can, with the little I have, to give my son a good home life. I have high blood pressure as of late and am having nervous stomach problems. Can other parents out there kindly offer me a little guidance as to how I can handle this problem more effectively? There are bigger problems than this that Most of us have to handle on adaily basis and I sincerely am embarrassed that I don't have the answer to my own question. Thanks
