my 11yr old son fell off his bike.?

He fell on his cheek and now it's swollen up.He has no pain to his eye or bleeding, just sore to touch. can touch around the swelling and bones felt intact. What should we do? we have ice on it, and he's taken pain killers.
 
Just keep Ice on it your doing everything right and monitor him if he starts vomiting or if the symptoms worsen take him to the doctors. Hope he feels better. And make sure he wears safety gear if he doesn't.
 
Dust him off and give him a sucker...he'll be okay. He's 11 years old for crap sakes! Little boys are designed to withstand play abuse. He'll be fine.
