My 11 year old son had decided he wants to help the environment by recycling everything he can. There are SO many websites about recycling. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good sites for kids? Or anyone is is very earth friendly that would have some good advice for him. Thanks!

It may be best to type in keywords to a search engine, i.e; google for best results.

Recycling ideas can start at home with a simple motto:
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

Try composting your veg peelings, teabags & garden waste. Compost bins cost around £30, placed in a sunny spot with the lid firmly closed can help veg matter to decompose. It can then be used in the garden later in the year to help with the flowers etc.

Create fun & interesting ideas for old material, toys etc. Taking stuff you no longer use to a charity shop, clothing collection etc. can help to reduce landfill sites.

Check if your local council have a kerbside collection scheme. They can take anything from toilet roll middles to glass bottles & even excess garden waste.

Search around, there are loads of handy ideas to get stuck into. Recycling is easy once you get the hang of it =)

Have fun!!
