...someone tell me what happened? ? Like it completely died- no power no keyless entry. However, the battery was not dead and the gears would still shift if I put my foot on the brake. Now it is fine. Whats going on?
Hi, I had it towed to the dealer and they said the battery is fine. They cant find anything wrong with it and Im picking it up. Honestly, it couldnt have been less than 40 degrees outside last night.
Im just worried its going to happen again when Im driving. Is this something that a lot of Mazdas have or what? Could it have something to do with my garage opener and interference?

It could simply be a bad cable connection to the battery. The battery cables should be removed every year or so and cleaned as shown in the video below. It's a very common occurrence. Even though the cables look like they're connected to the battery posts properly, you can't "see" the bad connection that the electrons are trying to jump over. Sometimes even tapping the battery connector lightly with a hammer will force the connection again for awhile.

No power, but it came back later? I would look first for a bad battery or ground connection. What you describe is hard to imagine. How cold was it? Don't waste your time and money until this happens again; spend a few dollars and buy a battery box (a battery jumper box) and keep it for an emergency. Or get AAA and have them come out.
