My 06 Ford Focus CD Player isn't working, any suggestion?

So, I was driving to school this morning, and I put in a 'Bad CD'. It ejected it. Sometimes, though, it'll just misread the CDs as bad, so I tried to put it in again. It spit it out, so I put in a different CD I know it had played before, but it wouldn't take the CD. Like, it didn't automatically catch and pull it in.
After that, I sort of forced it in, probably making it worse...But if anyone knows if there's a way to fix this, that won't cost me more than $44.32, please let me know.
 
Stop by one of the car audio places and ask about your player, it will
probably be cheaper to replace than repair. Might try cleaning/blowing
out the player to see if it helps. By the way, there isn't much you can
get for your 44 bucks, maybe a tank of gas.
