My 02 Ford Ranger wont crank when key is turned but the car electrical power is

on without no problem.? I turned the key but I get nothing. No cranking noise, no nothing, just dead silent. But the electrical system works ie radio, windows, door locks, alarm system. I think it might be the starter but dont know where that is. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
 
If You do not know where the Starter is take it to a Mechanic---On the Other Hand I would check Battery Post and Clamps --check
also at the Starter Solnoid
