Must I turn off my powered sub for my home stereo system at the end of every day?

Every time I turn off everything including my tv and receiver, and no signal is sent to my sub, since the power switch is still on in back of the sub the LED light stays lit overnight. Will that damage my powered sub to leave the switch in on position all the time, or must it be turned off manually with everything else.

Like Gary said, see if you can plug your sub into the back of your receiver. My receiver has two outlets on the back. One for constant power to a device and the 2nd outlet (this is where my sub is plugged in) turns whatever is plugged into it on when the receiver is on and off when the receiver is turned off. It will not hurt your sub but we are in the times of "Going Green". So to help save electricity you could turn it off. May be plug it into its own power strip so you don't have to reach so far to turn it off. Also you can by wireless remotes switches for out lets. If you have good connections and a good power-strip you will not get any hhhhmmmmm...
I bought a very good power-strip and it eliminated all my speaker and sub hhhmmmmm.
