Muslims Only! Please respond to this debate?

The person who I am writing to has absolutely no exposure to islam, knows nothing about Islam whatsoever and has only been exposed to disbelief. please give me some suggestions and key points to make when I respond to this person!!!

This is not much to think about at all Sheba.

God doesn't need a son. We needed God's son. We need God's son as a physical manifestation and personification of how we should strive to lead our lives. In accepting that we are lesser than and can never be any greater than his son we accept that we are not perfect and with sin therefore all fall short of God's glory. Therefore by believing in his son God pardons us for our sin due to our humility and submission to he and that which is infinitely greater than we are now and could ever be.
THIS WAS WHAT I WROTE THAT STARTED THIS DEBATE: you sound like a really deep person so I want you to think about this: why would God need a son, and how do you think God is... wouldn't He be able to do anything? why would he need a son to do anything for Him? why would He need helpers? if you were the greatest at something, like math, would you need a calculator? ok bad example, but please think about it.

where in th whole "bible" old and new testament does Jesus mention that he is the Son of God? none. and sorry "Truth Paragon" that only proves your misindersatndind and misinterpretation of the bible like bin-laden misinterprets the Quran. this is what the bible says :
"God said there was only one mediator..Christ Jesus...and we never pray to anyone but Jehovah God...Jesus said he prayed to God only also. When tempted by Satan after his baptism...Jesus quoted from the scriptures saying...It is written...it is to Jehovah God alone we must render sacred service." so no convincing today...

where does he ask people to worship him? : none.

the term Son of God was used by Jews back at the time as a form of respect, everybody used to call everybody son of God.
like we use now the words : dude and buddy...
but the problem happened at the time of translation from hebrew and greek (they even translated proper names!!! like Peter and John and Jesus, no Jew at the time was called Petter...), now you will find in current "Bibles" the letter "G" of the word God with both upercase and lowercase, upercase when it is conserning Jesus and lowercase when its conserning sombody else, the problem is, the original languages did NOT have lower and upercases (hebrew, arabic, armaic and other semetic languages...) so who put those UperCases??? of course the guy who was translating, and therfore it is just a human fantasy. we live in a rational world thanks to God, so if you have your proof bring it, otherwise im not gonna bet my afterlife on sombody's day dreaming and hollywoodic scenarios inspired by greek and egyptian mythology.

and i saaw aresponse above who said that muslims do not consider Jesus as the Messiah. thats actually very wrong muslims only know jesus as the "Massih Isa son of Marry".
so for Muslims Jesus is the ONLY messiah, they bellieve he is comming back too. Marry mother of Jesus is described in the Quran not as one of the best but THE BEST woman of all times!!! isnt it weired? Mohammad will come 600 years later claim he is a prophet, but still says that not his Wife and not his mother and not his doughter is the BEST women but Marry mother of Jesus?!?!?! and that Jesus is THE Messiah who will come back, and not himself.
