"And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers." ( Quran 3--85 )
This verse is worrying me so much , those who stick to their belief thinking that they are right , they reject Islam because that what they think , they may got it wrong or whatever but that all what they could think of .. you can not force someone to believe in something you really think is right ..no matter what you do ..we can never expect everyone to convert to Islam.
I pray I can find good explanation .
Baghdad, I'm directing this question to Muslims , Are you Muslim ?!!!!!!!!
Servant of Allah ,I wouldn't have posted this question before reading its interpretation , the verse is quite clear , its interpretation " tafsir " is the same way I understand it .
faith, No compulsion in religion is the same one like it's up to you to believe in God or not , if you choose not to then you're condemned, same this verse is , it's up to you not to embrace Islam but if you didn't you're condemned , so there is absolutely NO contradiction , I understand this goes under the will of the person but still what if they got it wrong ? I'm counting on God' understanding and mercy .
