Music sharing: Beyond Fear (heavy metal), do you like this band?

Beyond Fear is a project started by metal vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, known for his work with Judas Priest and Iced Earth, out of his desire to write his own material, something he didn't get to a whole lot of during his time with Judas Priest and Iced Earth.

They've only released one album so far, their music is overall modern heavy metal but contains elements of thrash metal and power metal in some songs. I'm gonna show you five songs from Beyond Fear's self-titled debut, give them a listen and tell me what you think:

I've heard this album before. The album is well... standard. Not bad but nothing amazing either. There's not much out of the ordinary to be found here. The vocals are of course, great, but overall the music just sounds like something I've heard so many times before. I prefer Tim's work in Winter's Bane a whole lot more than this. It was way more epic and better composed.
