Hello to all,

thank you for answering my other posts, my question is does anyone suffer from and Muscle tension . for excample neck back arms legs ect.
My other question is a little complicated so please bear with me.

I know I worry a lot but for excample if I am worrying over something and say to myself right don't worry about that now, does my MIND stop thinking about it in the backgriund even though I tell my self to stop.

Or another way of putting it if I say to myself to stop worrying how long does it take for the stree it has caused to stop or die down with regars to syumptoms.

Thanks
Darryl

hi ,

i know nothing about muscle tension but as for the mind im well practiced.

telling yourself your ok is the best cure for your problem . psychosymatic its when your mind is convinced there something wrong when your really ok , and symptoms occur, some women can be so convinced that they are pregnant their tummies swell and they feel pregnant but its all in their mind .

telling yourself your ok is a good start . the body knows when there is something wrong and tells you with physical pain . anxiety is all in the mind as is everything else in a person . reassure yourself and learn to gain control of your mind body and soul . also when you feel the anxiety coming on challenge yourself to do the very thing your fretting over , its your body and your mind so learn to be the boss of your emotions . things get easier and easier the more we do them. i was sectioned under the mental health act 9 years ago the help i recieved has brought you this knowledge .

i hope your well today my friend :)

thank you very much forthouse comments and advice I will try to put them into practice.

Take care

Darryl

I suffer muscle tension from my anxiety. I get it in my jaw because I grind my teeth together. I get it in my back which leaRAB up to my head, and chest as well. Then it scares me because I think im having a heart attack.

I try to do stretches, and if someone can massage you that works wonders. You would be suprised how many knots i get in my back from all the tension.
If you have no one to massage you take a over the counter pain reliever and use a heating pad.
