After switching to heavier weights in my workouts I felt a familiar past pain from my right wrist all the way to my elbow. This time I went too far and the pain got worse through the weight lifting. After finishing up, I could hardly lift a barbell because of the pain. Now for the past 2 days I have been in moderate to severe pain which is going from stabbing to throbbing and back and forth. It has not stopped at all! Motrin subsides it a little, but not even Icy-Hot has helped.
I sometimes feel tingling in my hand and fingers, and it feels like my arm and hand swell just a tad. The pain has gotten to the point that it hurts to turn the ignition in my car with my right hand, or even rotate my wrist. Even jumping jacks hurt too much in this arm!
So does this point to a muscle strain in my forearm? Or is it a simple pulled muscle or worse, a tear?
