Does the plaintiff attend trial court in a harassment case or does it depend. They lied on me and obtained my personal info from their parent at a place I'm no longger employed and I have to go to court for apologizing to someone I thought was my friend. I was offered a deal but didn't want to take it since they told the officer I threatened their life among other liues in the repoirt, the prosecutor said that person didn't say that, and when I showed him the report he said he just skimmed it? And I was only going to court for apologizing and nothibg else. The officver also lied and said I admitted things I didn't and he had the summons filled out berfore I gave my side with my stolen info that this alleged friend gave him. Can't afford a lawyer, can I get a public defender? And even if I apologized does it not matter that this person lied and said I threatened their life and made other lies? Will they be at the trial and do they have to prove my apologies were harassment becauise the judge said it would have to be intended to harass, and I was only sorry to someone I thought was a friend and would forgive me
