is there anyways i can run mp3's and gps at the same time on a palm tx? i have never used gps on a palm before but if i do then do i have to insert a sd with all maps on it or can they be saved ( say 4 states ) on the existing memory of the palm?
 
I'm not certain that this can or can't be done. I think it would be dependent upon the GPS device - regardless - battery life would be terrible if you were planning on running it sans power. Less than an hours is my guess based upon my experience with a T3 and TomTom.

I can tell you that 3 years ago - with that configuration it was not possible to run both at the same time but other more current solutions might be different.
