i think it looks great but if the reliability is anything like my 1198 has been there is no way i'll use one of these for touring. i'll get the beemer instead.

Don't say this on Ducati's Facebook forum though, the leg humpers will eat you alive.

Before you go that route, I would check out all the problems with the K1300S and K1300GT. Definitely not ready for prime time. You pay your nickel, (or 420,000 nicklels to be more exact), and take your chances with stalling issues.

The Beemer 1200 Adventure will be eaten alive by the new Duc on the street and in the twisties.

Since you've got an SS on your avatar I thought I'd add the SS is one of the best touring bikes I've ever ridden. Every minute on that thing other than two up up hill passing was a pleasure on that thing.
