All of the following are correct about Petrarch except he
a. Perfected the sonnet form.
b. Wrote sonnets in Latin.
c. Wrote in vernacular.
d. Wrote love poems to Laura.
e. Was a Florentine.
 
This is a tough one. He did not like it when others wrote in languages besides Latin. He considered a dead language better than the "vulgar" languages which would constantly be changing. However, I did read somewhere that he did not write exclusively in Latin. The only other choice would be whether he was a Florentine. While he was considered a Florentine he was actually born and lived his entire life in other cities.

So, it is either C or E, you pick. haha I would pick C.
