Multilingual support

hello people, the palm is a great device, but one of its shortcomings (besides multitasking) is multilingual support, which doesnt matter most to native english speakers, me not included cuz english is my second language...

anyway, i decided to stop whining and start googling for multilingual support and i found it:

http://www.penreader.com/technologies/Localization.html

i have 2 questions:

1. do u recommend any other language solution, because i didnt search for any other one besides the link above, maybe there's a famous killer software that i dont know about.but the fact the PiLoc is mentioned in the palm support
http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEB...,K=3560,Sxi=3,useTemplate=Case.tem,CASE=33684
is a bit reassuring

2. I downloaded a 14 day trial, but i didnt installed it yet, cuz i'm kinda new to palm and i'm afraid a screw something up, cuz u know, i'm altering the OS in a sense, so besides HotSyncing, what can I do to make this process problem-free, probably backing up, which i didnt do, cuz i didnt find a good freeware.

thanx alot

I'm afraid I don't know much about the program you want to intstall. However, I know that some Palm models are being sold outside the US with multiple languages preinstalled. I purchased my T3 in Hong Kong. When I turned the device on the first time, it let me choose between English and Chinese. If you haven't purchased your device yet, I would suggest visiting one of Palm's international sites and see if you can order from them.
