A muffler is a muffler. It won't hurt the car in any way. It's just the same as taking it to a shop and having a flow-master, magna-flow, or any other performance exhaust put on. It's going to have a different sound to it, but that's just because it's probably a different style muffler, or a different size. But, it will not hurt the vehicle in any way, shape, or form.
