hi i use weights and weight bence to build up i do 3 sets of 8 everyday is that good and is building my abs the same should i only do so many and how many sets ??
well people do respect the abs like other muscles but then again lots of people train there abs everyday. try to do like 60 crunches a day. but as for the other workouts do not do those everyday or you will overwork your muscles and they will get smaller not bigger
for building muscle - 3-4 sets/ medium weight/ 10-12 reps
for leaner build- 3-4 sets/ light weight/ 10-15 reps
for being stronger - 3-4 sets/ heavy weight/ 2-6 reps
that system works for everything
for abs, think about doing oh...30-100 (its possible) crunches in sets, 3 sets of 10 or 4 sets of 25. and think about holding a small weight (10 ish pounds) while doing crunches.
