MTG question about enchant creatures and auras?

so aura is the new name for enchant creature correct? and both an enchant creature and aura can be destroyed with a simple "Destroy target enchantment" correct?
 
Aura is any enchantment that attaches to something. Usually it is a creature, but there are some that target lands only (like the ones in Zendikar block that turn them into creatures) or any permanent.

Yes, Auras are a subtype of enchantment, and therefore are still vulnerable to any destroy enchantment effects.
