MSN Message History Question ***HELP***?

I would like to no how to check the message history on my MSN. From my friends account that I don't have the password to. Can someone plz tell me how to check it from my account of my computer, I mean there has to be a way there was a way from my moms computer so there has to be a way on mine. I have windows Vista and a lab top.
