Ms ActiveSync for Palm TX?

Is there a 3rd party client for the Palm TX that talks to Microsoft Exchange as if it was an MS ActiveSync client?

There are various 3rd party programs that will "schedule" a hot sync but none that I know of that will run in a similar fashion as Active Sync to reflect changes instantly.

This is primarily do to the fact that Palm OS has so many other programs that are backed up only during a hot sync - most notably Documents to Go which uses it's own conduit manager.

Bummer, my main reason for considering moving from my old & trusty Palm V to a TX is to synch the calendar events over-the-air and my company uses ActiveSync.

Since the TX is the only PDA that has released a patch to enable use of the non-hackable form of WPA encryption over WiFi, combined with the fact that the TX's CPU/memory specs are comparable with Windows Mobile 5 devices that cost twice as mache, it seemed like a natural fit.

I guess I'll have to start looking at Micro$oft-based PDAs... :P

Active Sync is a proprietary MS piece of software so you are pretty well relegated to it.......but if your company would allow you to install the Palm Desktop on your terminal and configure network access for Hot Sync - I'd still push for it if I were you.

If your syncing multiple PDA's to the same Outlook folder then that's a can of worms.
