Designed a db for work where the first record is used as a search record.
Users click the mouse on the field they want to search by and then use the filter by selection button to find the record.
The problem I am having is that when the button is clicked, the form seems to automatically use the first field on the form regardless of what field the user types in.
I presume this is some sort of default setting, which I would like to change. I want the focus to stay on the field that the user has chosen to search by. Otherwise, the search function is useless.
Any help availabale would be great!
