Let me start off by saying that im an avid reader of Mobile-Review and i was waiting a long time for Mr.Eldar to get his N95.
But after reading this review,i got reminded of how biased this guy is against Nokia.
He even goes on to compare to the Music quality against the iPhone which as far as i know hasnt even been spotted in proto phase.
The last sectance of the Nokia vs SE debate is particulary interesting:
"Nokia N95 puts up average sound quality, aimed at unsophisticated users."

Give it a read and do comment.

I read it and I totally disagree... I am actually impressed with the N95 music quality and I am not an average music listener...

Guy has a reputation of being bought by Sony Ericsson, he even admitted once that Nokia doesn't give him phones anymore.
And about Iphone, i call BS, just like his older fairytales about K750 with CCD chip, 6230i with huge screen etc etc. All talk, no proof as always.

I don't know about Iphone because it's not out, but I've had Music phones from SE and as well as smartphones like the P990i and M600i and I can say is the A2DP sound coming out of the N95 is IMO better and has more bass.....I think it's better for me.

Well, always take mobile-review's comments with a grain of salt. I also visit the site often for timely info and reviews (which are sometimes available so early they appear more like previews). But, I always throw away the subjective part of the comments there and leave the judgment to myself.

I don't even remember where I got the impression that the site's pro-SE and anti-Nokia but apparently I'm not the only one. Ironic, then, that among mobile-review's forums Nokia is by far the most active.

That's because SE hasn't put out a good phone in awhile. The last one they had that was somewhat interesting was the M600 and W950. Other than that, they've focused mostly on non-smartphones and more specifically on Walkman brand phones.

Actually, the N95 audio quality is suprisingly good via A2DP. I use it with my HBH0DS970 and it works a treat especially since the N95 has the AVRCP too

I really appreciate the work that reviewers do in testing phones, but it's bad that phone companies are giving them free phones for this work. This gift creates a perception of improprietry and could taint reviews somewhat.

r u kidding me? music wise this phone is the same as nokia n91. have u ever tried nokia n91 8GB via A2DP and Nokia N95 Via A2DP? i have tried both and believe me they sound the exact same. i have Jabra BT8010 and Jabra BT620. This guy needs to be tested on a lie detector.

I was listening to music via A2DP to and from work and I'm really impressed with the sound....it's impressive how the sound is so clear with lots of bass. IMO it sounds better than I Ipod.....which I have an old one so don't know if the sound is better on new ones..............I can just imagine using a bose headset, how much better that would sound!!!

He says that macromode is better on K800, N95 doesn't actually have true macromode and in low light it's absolutely worhless.
Also he states that K800 has more 'realistic' color reproduction and K800 pics are is better detailed.
He also compared N95 pics to Canon IXUS 750, of course Canon has better colors and details, but he admitted that some on Nokia's pics are very close to Canon (that and good video recording is basically the only good thing he said).
Also in night time flash is useless, but due to good lens night pictures turns out acceptable.
Bottom like of this review is' it's not worth it to buy this phone because of it's camera, there are a lot of cheaper digital cameras worth only 250 dollars, that make better pictures.
Also he advertises Sony Ericsson by mentioning (what a surprise that in September there will be a Sony Ericsson with similar specs soo, it'll be cheaper than Nokia and will have 5 mp.

BTW, there is a lot more balanced and detailed review of N95 (and it's only first part!), they compare N95 sizewise and screenwise to some other handsets and picturewise to Canon IXUS 750

Some pics turns out sharper than Canon
And i'd say macromode is very good

I hate when reviewers do this.......it's definitely not worth buying the phone just for the camera.......why would anyone do this? It wouldn't be worth buying a K800i just for the camera either. You can't compare a standalone camera, music player, and GPS to the N95. It's good for people like me whom likes to listen to music on the way to and from work for 1.5 hours, take pictures when I see something interesting and I don't have my camera with me, and I have navigation in my car so I use it if I'm lost on foot. With a camera phone, you still don't get the fast shutter speeds like you do on a standalone camera.
