Hi everybody
I have a question.
I had my MRI test done yesterday.
Before test they inject me a liquid (I didn`t know what was the name)
After injection in seconRAB i felt some metal test in my mouth.
In same time i felt like difficulty in my breath and some kind of dizzy.
Nurse ask me how i feel? and i said to her i feel a metal taste in my mouth and she right away injected another liquid (small bag) to me.
And i felt much better after that and i went to the MRI room.
May be 45 minutes later another nurse or radiologist came and he said
he neeRAB to give me another liquid to see my MRI better.
He said it is not the same one which they gave me before.
After this again i feel different taste in my mouth. But i didn`t have any dizzy or difficulty in breath.
I have Sulfa allergy.
I am allergic to some fooRAB.
But i never felt this before in my life.
I was wondering do i need allergy test or it was normal reaction?
Nurse was acting like normal think but i felt something was wrong.
Could you please help me.
Thanks.

I just got CT Scan and I got IV Contrast too, but the radiologist assistance warned me first that I would have a taste of metalic in my mouth. I did taste it but only for a while.
The worst thing happened to me was the next day my face was swollen and rashed all over my upper body. I was told that some people are allergic to the dye which is from Iodine. I got medication but it took ten days to get rid of the rash and dizzyness.
I hope by now you are OK, but if you still taste the metalic and still dizzy, please go to a doctor. Everybody has different allergy reaction.
