Hi, I have recently got MRI done as I am suffering from intense lower right back problem. Need assistance in intepreting the same. The report says:
1 )PAtchy hyperintense marrow signals are seen in L3 vertebral body on T1 and T2W sequences, which are suppressed on STIR sequences- suggestive of fatty changes
2) A large schmorl's node seen at L4-L5 disc, compressing the ight lateral recess.
3) Left L4-L5 facet joint arthritic changes seen.
4) Mobiview sequence through the whole spine show mild disc bulges at the L4-L5 and L5-L6 discs mildly indenting the anterior subarachoid space.
Can someone explain this in a language I can understand.
thanks for the help.
