Hi there, I'm 42 and have been having neck/back issues for the last couple months. Had an MRI done. Can anyone help with what all this means?

Everything is normal from C2-3 to C5-6

C6-7: Left central and paracentral disc/spur with left ventral cord flattening. There is moderate left forminal narrowing with uncinate hypertrophy. Left canal caliber is borderline. The right foramen appears adquate.

He sent me home with Voltaren and I'm still in A LOT of pain. This was from an Orthopedic Specialist. I've also started physical Therapy 2x a week.

He didn't really explain what all this means except that it wasn't good and to stop golfing and working out! Can't sleep a night due to the pain and have been very depressed and "snappy" to all that love me. Just wondered if, this is the right course of medication.

Thanks!
