Can any one help out there I have had constant leg pain first on the right side for several years. The docs said it was because I had shingles chronicaly for years on the saiaitic nerve Then i had a fall down the steps and the pain shifted to the Left side Yea go figure. Its been 3 years and still hurts Some days i dont get out of bed from the pain and thats when i am taking meRAB I have nurabness and weakness and pain down the back and outer side of the left leg worse in lower back and my calf. My foot drags cause its hard to lift so i limp and sometimes trip over my own foot
when i walk it feels like pins and needles most the time but the mri doesnt show anyhting on that nerve i got another mri done and would like to know if anyone can tell me whats going on since i dont have a doc appt yet it says Pain meRAB really dont help alot the pain is alway there just nagging and tormenting. I Had physical therapy steriod shots i just want to be normal again Mri of thoracic spine says There is some mild disc space narrowing with some degenerative disk desiccation noted within a lower thoracic intervertebral disc with some anterolateral hypertrophic spurring at this particular level This would appear to lie at or just below the thoracolurabar juncture.
Impression Mild degenerative changes with spondylosis at the thoracolurabar juncture
Then the Lurabar mri says L1-L2 normal, L2-L3 there is a slight flattening of this disk which is somewhat desiccated L3-L4 there is moderate flattening of this disk which is somewhat desiccated L4-L5 there is mild flattening and degenerative desiccated of this disk On the axil sequence there is a suggestion of a mild foraminal protrusion of this disk to the left There ia a slight leftparacentral bulging of this disk to the left also noted The central canal is mildly narrowed at this interval some facet arthropathy is seen bilaterally
Impression-MRI findings suggest mild left paracentral and mild left foraminal bulging of the mildly flattened and desiccated L4-L5 disk associated with borderline central spinal stenosis at this level Can anyone tell me whats going on here or if these results mean anything?
