been thinking about getting a bike, one of the many reasons was efficiency - but after looking around there doesnt seem to be much difference. I get about 50-55MPG in my 2001 corsa 1.0 on a motorway (40-45 around town) and from what ive seen looking around online it doesnt seem to be much better for the kind of bike that was suggested to me (suzuki bandit 600, or the equivalent yahama or kawasaki)
admittedly the MPG for these bikes that ive seen online would be for the regular model, whereas i'd need it restricted to 250cc, would this make a huge amount of difference?
if anyones wondering, i had been told that considering i'd be doing a lot of motorway driving (300miles a week) i'd be much better off getting a restricted 600, than just getting a 250? But i'd be interested in opinions on this
