My mom is trying to sync her Philips MP3 player to a Dell computer with Windows Vista and Windows Media Player but they won't sync. She used to get her songs through Rhapsody but she cancelled the subscription because she didn't want to buy the songs. She downloaded Limewire and can get the songs from there to Windows Media Player but when she hooks up her MP3 player, they won't sync and it has this Welcome to Rhapsody message on the MP3 player stating the subscription is expired. Does Rhapsody prevent her from synching with Windows Media Player EVEN after the subscription is gone. I used my MP3 player on the computer and it synchs with the player and copies the songs onto the player.
