MP3 player compatible?? TOYOTA Corolla (2009)?

i might get a Toyota corolla (2009) and i was wondering if i could hook up my mp3 player to it and listen to music.

It says it MP3/WMA compatible but does that mean it can just play mp3s or can i actually plug in an mp3 player..?
