Moving up from a 2001 Dodge Neon to a 2009 Honda Civic Si? Good transition?

I have a 2001 Dodge Neon with 165,000 miles on it (no, I don't know how it lasted that long). I am getting a new car this fall when I start my first job after graduating from college. I really like the Honda Civic Si (cheap to maintain, relatively good gas mileage, cheap to insure, Honda quality). I loved my Neon and thought it drove very sporty. Will I be happy with the Honda Civic Si (considering that I'm coming from a Dodge Neon)? Comments or suggestions?

that neon might last till 200M the civic 500 easily
and U can always supercharger or turbo charge the civic
there will always b more ppl that willl want it when ur done with it
