I'm considering a move to the Moncton area. I'm looking at houses on the eastern coast about 30 mins away.
I'm wondering about the weather. I currently live in Northwestern Ontario where winters are long and cold (-30, -40). Our growing season is very short. Up here we're lucky if our last frost is by June 1st and then summers are still cold and yucky. Gardening is over by mid September. How cold is the Moncton area? How long is the growing season?
Is it much colder than Nova Scotia? I also looked there for housing but am not finding quite what I"m looking for.
Anything you can tell me about the weather and gardening there would be great. I need to make this decision soon so I can put my house up for sale.
Thanks a bunch!
