okay so my family moved to kansas because of the army... well i have lived here for 2 mouths and cant stand it i have tried it and hate it and the school is bad thay are trying to screw me out of credits and every thing so my ? is ....does any one know about amanticpation and if so please help.. i want to move back to iowa but my mom wont let me a friend will let me move in with him and his parents
i am not on here for some on to tell me im dumb okay... i know what life is after my x step dad went to prison i took care of my two sisters at the age of 14 to 16 my mom was to drunk to know what a job was untill she got remaried i am almost 17 i am going to school with good grades and dont miss any school i cant spell yes i know that...i know what the real world is like i was forced to grow up fast i had no choice.,. i missed most of my child hood because of my parents my x step dad went to pirson for sleeping with his daughter so dont tell me im stupid im not a kid im sorry for being agree but most ppl dont understand where i come from

you spelled it wrong... its emancipation. If you get emancipated that means your parents are not obligated to provide money, medical insurance or any other kind of support. Before a child gets emancipated he or she must be able to provide for themselves, handle their own money and have a legal way to make money. All these conditions at a minimum must be met before the judge will make a ruling in favor of the child.
In order to get emancipated:
You have to be at least 16 years old. You can't be living with your parents. Each of your parents must give consent. You cant be a ward of the state.
Even though you are emancipated you still are required to go to school, and you cannot get married until the legal age without parental consent.
If you want to get emancipated then go to the appropriate juvenile court to start the proceedings. You probably be interviewed to make sure you understand the ramifications of emancipation. If it is deemed that you are a candidate then a petition in juvenile court should be filed to start the process.
Once you are emancipated make sure you keep your papers with you at all times. When things occur you might have to provide proof of emancipation!
my own opinion... is that you are dumb for wanting to get emancipated... and life isnt always easy maybe you should stop bitching and deal with it...
