moving = lame.

my boyfriend just moved 30 miles away.
which isn't that far, except that i've been spoiled by him living like two minutes away for the past four years, minus about 6 months where he lived a half hour away.

and it's just far enough for me not to have enough gas to go out there very often.

Moving away, hmmmm, I might not know that much about it...:rolleyes:

I curently live 998 miles away from my friends and family, and next week I will be moving 1256 miles away from home, and 808 miles from where I live now.

Sorry to hear you won't be seeing him as much, but keep in mind that it could be alot worse.

dont worry mate..

I was in the same situation as you only i moved... and it was 200 miles apart (from somerset to manchester).

After 9 months of doing the long distance thing- I moved back down to live with him..

Its hard to begin with but it gets easier because it becomes a routine. Make sure you jsut call everyday.. that way you dont lose touch with eachothers lifes. Alternatively you could move with him!:rolleyes:

That sucks, but as others have said, it could be a lot worse. I currently reside an hour and a half away from my boyfriend while I'm in school and don't have a car, so it's not like I can just pick up and visit him whenever I like. We still talk every day on the phone and on instant messaging. It sucks, but you get used to it and learn to live with it. Here's a :hug2: to help cheer you up.

I've had that experience.. 2 years into the relationship my (now ex) gf moved away to university. Just over 140 miles (annoying train journey or a little over 2hrs in the car, if you drive like me).
Sure it was frustrating at first, but we still saw each other every couple of weeks and spoke a lot more on the phone/MSN. It was kinda good too because we always made up for the time we missed ;)
