I have a very large tank with tropical fish in. The fish are very healthy.
I will be moving house very soon and I am worried about the fish what is the best way to transport then I have a large cat fish so I know he can not go in a bag...
Please any suggestions also should I keep there water.

well why dont you go and ask the pet store guys they might be having a good knowledge about shifting your fish's safely...........
hope this helped

Buy a couple of Styrofoam bucket and transport the fishes in them.

If the strip is longer than a few hours, buy a air pump and pump O2 into the water.

I have had fish for 44 yrs..its a disease I swear.

Keep at least 1/3 of the water in. You need that good bacteria that has acumulated.Take all the rocks out for sure. I always put my fish in Jumbo buckets covered the top with a towel. But my large Pleco's or Cats I kept in the tank. To big to mess with and the baggies have to be thick cause they can prick them real easy.
Load it up on a nice moving blanket or bedspread, carpet cover it and drive slow..
