Movies you're surprised didn't get a DTV sequel

My vote goes to The Pagemaster. It seemed that every animated movie from that time frame got a DTV sequel no matter how good or bad they did. *cough*Swan Princess*cough* I am not saying that they should make a sequel, I am just surprised that they didn't.

I'll go with "The Incredibles." I know it is more likely to see a theatrically released sequel, but since that hasn't happened yet, I will gladly take a DTV, Brad Bird and CGI be damned.

It's not a cartoon, but a followup to the original 'My Pet Monster' DTV pilot seemed like a sure thing. I guess they thought that the animated series would be a better way to go, and so the DTV pilot where we're teased with
The evil museum curator becoming Beastur
is never followed up on.

I doubt that The Incredibles sequel will end up on DTV, mostly all Pixar movies will be released theatrically only if the recent movies of pixar are not doing great(which i doubt totally)then they will end up on DTV.

I seriously can't think of any movie getting a DTV treatment except for tv shows like Megas XLR, The Secret Saturdays and Spectacular Spider-man.

Considering the glut of "cheapequals" Disney was cranking out for a while there, I'm suprised nobody ever thought of revisiting The Sword in The Stone.

I'm with you on this one.
Pixar has been shoving out sequels left to right latley.
What's keeping them with this dang Incredibles sequel?

As much as the next person i would like to see a sequel of the Incredibles but you have to realize Pixar takes time to come up with a good story, i mean if you want to get a sequel like Shrek because Dreamworks cares about the money then the movie it will turn out bad but if the guys of Pixar are doing it because they want to make a sequel then try to wait until they announce something, besides Pixar's working with alot of sequels: Toy Story 3, Monsters Inc 2, Cars 2, adding the incredibles will feel too crowded.

The great mouse detective. I know it did somewhat well but you think Disney would've done another mystery for basil. Surprised they didnt bother doing it.
