Why in all movies about US military are the uniforms incorrect, I am a soldier so I have an eye for things like that. I was just curious if maybe they do it because they dont want foreign countries seeing exactly how our uniforms look, but that makes no sense to me since we go to foreign countries and they have seen our uniforms. The best representation I have seen to date was in Courage Under Fire or Stop Loss. If you have seen a movie called Home of the Brave then you know what im talking about, not only were the uniforms messed up in that movie but their military tactics while overseas in the beginning of the movie were a horrible representation and made us look bad honestly. So basically what im asking is why dont movie companies do their research on the military uniform and tactics before trying to make a movie out of it.
