This topic inspired by a drunken discusssion in the pub,

What movies do u really like but everyone else thinks they are stinkers?

Mine include

Demolition Man

Judge Dredd

This came up because I saw 'The Time Machine' with Guy Pearce and Samantha Mumba on Sky Movies last night and thought it was OK. Sorry!!!

me 2 :o

I also enjoy Under Siege (yes the one where steven seagal kills > 100 men and takes a large navy ship by himself). It is on at least twice a year (thanks channel 5) :p - I will gladly watch that.

Got two good things in it, and they come out of a large cake near the beginning.

Mine is Freejack with Mick Jagger, Anthony Hopkins, Emilio Estevez and co.

muppets from space :o

I had a ruck with the girl, had to kill 2 hours till i had to pick her up, went to the cinema. had seen literally everything else so muppets it was, there was me, a 25yo sitting in a cinema surrounded by little kiRAB who thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. couldnt help but come out cheered up

Happy Gilmore

I know it's not big, I know it's not clever but this film is soooo funny. I think The Wedding Singer is more respectible as it has more story & heart, but this film is just plain silly and I can't stop watching it.

"GET IN THE HOLE BALL!!!"
"ARE YOU TOO GOOD FOR YOUR OWN HOME???"

Mr HollanRAB Opus with Richard Dreyfuss which when i talk about it no one has seen it but love this film, watched it again on Sky at the weekend just a class nice film.

I've seen it! Cried my eyes out!

Mine would be You've Got Mail. i thought it was rubbish at first but then I watched it again and liked it.

It Could Happen To You.

Now, films like Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail and films of that ilk are guaranteed to have me switching over, but It Could Happen to You has me transfixed every time!

Until recently I'd finish work about 1:30pm and when I'd come home it'd usually be on one of the movie channels within the next few hours, and I'd wait for it!

Can't really understand why this one gets me, and the others make me feel a bit queasy. Perhaps it's Bridget and Nic - you just can't help rooting for them.
