Most usb flash drives are 2.0 but even the old ones are still good it all depends on your video card, processor and your RAM on your computer. I think 512 RAM and a 1.0 or higher processor should do it. Most computer's today already come with a great video cards. If you are having problems with your flash drive playing movies I should maybe increase your RAM or Just make sure your hard drive isn't almost full.
