Movie reviews on a blog using screencaps, copyright violation?

Was thinking about doing movie review blog, mainly focusing on older movies from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The main thing I ran into (although lots of blogs/sites seem to do it) is the issue of copyright involving pictures used with the posts.

If you've browsed the stock or royalty free sites you know that there are hardly any movie stills out there. I know "fair use" works for low resolution clips from videos when your doing a video review, but does it hold true for a written review using stills?

I could take the screencaps myself if it would even make a difference as I own most of the movies I would be reviewing. Is there a loophole of sorts regarding Movie posters (used as images) or anything similar? Any advice would be appreciated...
