Im looking for a phone on wich i can put large memory cards (>=512mb) for watching movies on. My friend has a program for compiling whole movies to very small sizes and he can easily watch them on his Nokia 6630 but the battery only lasts for 2 movies max. I am looking for a mobile phone (not a palm) that has the same video capabilities as the Nokia 6630 but with beter video watch time. Also it has to have a good internet browser and good java technology.
 
i guess screen size really matters in this case. cuz the larger the screen, it drains the battery faster. so what size screen u looking for?
 
Well i like the 6630 (and its screen size (176x208)) but i dont quite like the design of it. So if there is a phone out there with the same abilities ( or possibly better ) but with some other design thats the phone for me then
 
sharp 930 is really a nice phone to watch.. it has one the biggest best screans in the market (in the flip phone market)

i think the battery can last for a good 4 hrs in flight mode and about 3 hrs in normal mode!.. hope that helps

You'll need to upgrade to the BL-6C battery and buy a 1 gig MMCMobile card.
You'll also need to purchase the Smartmovie software, which converts almost any movie type to a nice file size, great picture quality and pixel perfect (176x208 ) movies.

Opera 8.51 is a free download. Runs java fine.

Also has a variety of music players and a 2 megapixel cam with flash.
 
How would it be cheaper if its an UPGRADE...


ANyways, i use my W900i and its great on movies, good screen size and battery life is about 3-4 movies(estimated based on battery life used for 1 movie which was about 25%) ...i don't know why you need so much watch time on a small screen (i use my psp for movies, its far better than any phone).
