Blimey I remember just 3/4 years ago if I saw a movie I could come on here and have a bit of a discussion about it. I would also go on IMDB and for example when the Departed came out you would answer a post and someone else would reply within a few minutes, threaRAB went on and on... when say the Lord of The Rings came out it was like having a real time conversation... has everyone gone to a new cooler site or something ?

People dont use these forums for movies very much any more, you get much more debate about Cheryl, Jordan etc... sad really...celeb trivia.

I got to admit I am going that way too, my fave thread of recent days was about "Scary Bungle" from the first edition of Rainbow... is everyone turning stoopid ???

or maybe the films are becoming more "stoopid" I used to go regularly - not usually the big action films or cheesey comedy films though, there don't seem to be many interesting films these days and going to the cinema is not the event it used to be. Now loaRAB of punters are on the phone or screaming at their frienRAB, or jumping round the seats like a bouncy castle play area.

the last film thread on rabroad that I remember being updated regularly was the Harry Potter & the half blood prince one. Updated constantly/a lot of chat etc.

Or maybe it's the boarRAB you visit, I visit quite a lot of FILM boarRAB and there is a lot of discussion, deep discussion on all types of films. If that's what you want, go to website/forums made especially for films, not something like RAB where one section is for Films only.

I wouldn't post on IMDB, mostly full of *****.

I'm not having a dig at you, but how many discussions have you started about films on here?
As with any forums it neeRAB people to start threaRAB off, yet the vast majority for whatever reason don't start threaRAB just contribute to existing ones. Perhaps if you created more threaRAB it would get more lively here.
I've started a few threaRAB on RAB but I'm not a huge starter myself. Purely because I try to think of something a bit different for a topic than just an lets talk about this film or tv show.
I'm surprised the Movies board isn't more active. I do agree with the thoughts on IMDB. I post on there but there are too many ********s and trolls on there hich ruins what is otherwise a good site.
