Move Crew

Ok, at 8 am I have to go do move crew. This is where we help people move into the dorms. I'm so excited. :banghead: It's going to be hell. It's raining already and I have to work until 11. I'm not exactly sure what all I'll have to do, but I'll find out soon enough. Wish me luck!

ohhhhhh you poor thing! i hope your move in is better than move in here. it was hot and crowded. good luck darlin, don't bruise too much (lots of people i know that worked that bruised )

Move Crew? I had to move myself in to my own room. There was no move crew where I went to college. There were also no elevaters and for those that were on the 4th floor (top floor in our dorms) it was pretty hellish.

Hopefully you won't have too many really heavy things to pick up. Good luck, Mags!

Ok. I'm done now. It wasn't too bad at all. We just asked people if they wanted help getting their stuff out of their cars and we just piled all the stuff up around the parking lot. They had to take it to their rooms and set it all up. Most of the time we were just sitting around becuase nobody was moving in early. It was really cold and windy though and I was wearing shorts and my move crew t-shirt cuz I was afraid I'd get too hot lifting stuff out of cars. Now I'm done and I feel bad for anyone working move crew in Gage where I live. It's 12 floors in each of the two towers and the elevators are all backed up. So I had to sprint the 6 floors to my room. I dunno. Tomorrow will be hectic too because the upperclassmen will be moving in. It should be ok though. I hope anyway. At least I get to eat in the caf tonight.
