Mouth / Throat problem

I'm not sure if i should've put this in ENT or not. So i'll start here.

Well, for the past week or so i've noticed my tongue to be slightly swollen, or that there's a swollen feeling in my mouth. My tongue also has a slight white coating on the top and there are red spots towards the back of my tongue.

My mouth has also been rather dry, requiring me to drink water every so often, and i've lost a good bit of my appetite. I'm not quite sure what all of these symptoms could mean, i have an appointment in a few days and i'd like to go in with a bit of knowledge, thanks :).

Steve.

A swollen tongue can occur for a variety of reasons, including medications, allergies, parasitic bites and underlying medical problems. There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about your symptoms. And lots of things can cause dry mouth. However, there are some good dry mouth products like Salese from Nuvora which will help you deal with your dry mouth yourself.
