Moulin Rouge...was that really Ewan Mcgregor singing?

Just been enjoying this on Channel 4. Was that Ewan Macgregor's real singing voice? It was absolutely amazing, especially on Come What May.

Indeed it was him singing. I saw him in the recent stage production of Guys and Dolls a couple of years ago and he has a good voice - no stage presence but a good voice!

I wouldnt say he has a good voice. He can hold a note but his singing has a forced tone to it.

Of course!...I'd forgotten he's been in musicals. I was so impressed by that voice. I wish he'd sing more often!

It was Ewan singing and I think he sounded brilliant, I so prefer his version of Your Song. It's a beautiful film.

I also love the start of the movie were he singing 'the hills are alive' I normally rewind that part.

Yeah i was really impressed with both his and Nicole's singing voices - both better than i was expecting. That's a great film

It is definitely Ewan McGregor singing because it credits him on the soundtrack.

My favourites are probably "Come what may" and "Your song"

I hated the dance remix that they released of "Come what may" i just felt it spoilt it
