Definitely, I just didn't understand what you meant by seat crow. I don't think Motowheels sells them. OPP has one for $245 and Ducati Performance sells them for $301. DP is more expensive but it is the only one that retains the word Ducati on the pad part.



I have not personally seen both ST and MW carbon side by side but I have done searches on here about the weave and from all the post I could find they are the same.

"polished finish" is buffed out after it comes out of the mold. This finish is best for heal guards, radiator V pieces or any where you can get rock chips or where boots may come in contact. It is more durable but not as glossy as the 'clear coat finish".

"clear coat" is a urethane UV protectant clear finish that is sprayed on the product. Looks similiar to BST wheels or carbon dream CF. Very glossy. Easier to keep clean.

Lately Ducati carbon fiber is coming with a "clear coat".

I would think that most CF dealers in direct competition with one another would want to see the weave/fit/quality of their competition. I dont understand why they dont buy a small piece to compare with their own to be able to assist customers with multiple pieces of other manufacturers CF to ensure the weave is comparable, etc.

Just my .02... Seems like it would benefit all parties considering I know I would spend the money on the CF tail if I was sure it would match all my Shift-Tech carbon fiber. Not sure though if I wanna take the chance if its possible it doesnt match...
 
I am in the process of buying about 16-18 pieces of CF in the next 2-3 months. I am buying at least 1 piece from every vendor. When I have everything I am going to do a detailed write up comparing all the different vendors, before I put them on the bike. This should help out the next guy.

As for this piece I could only find it at Ducati Performance, Motowheels, OPP, and Carbon Trader. DP was total crap, (removed incorrect information about Carbon Trader, currently researching them), that leaves Moto and OPP.

I have heard once or twice on this forum that Moto matches Shift-Tech so, for the price, I will take a chance on Moto (same piece at OPP plus undertail is $1038 vs $650 with Moto)

Try searching some more for us and see if you can find more info about the weaves matching.
