Motorola w755 cell phone wont charge?

my Motorola w755 cell phone just out of nowhere shut off. i plugged the charger into the phone and nothing happened the phone doesn't show any signs of charging. normally it lights up when i plug in the charger but now it wont. YES IT WILL TURN ON, but my battery is dead NO there is nothing wrong with the charger the phone just wont charge and yes i tried a few different chargers but it wont charge also the phone is only a little over a year old and in very good condition.anyone know whats wrong with it?---thanks
