I can't decide what I want to do, and I was hoping someone could help me decide. Two weeks ago yesterday, I bought a Motorola v265 phone to replace my LG VX4400 that died. The v265 worked fine for two weeks, and then went crazy yesterday. Basically what happened is this: the battery was down to one bar. I plugged in the charger and it went straight to full charge. I thought that was weird, so I left it plugged in for a while to see what would happen.
Well, today I went to use it, and after a couple minutes it died. Battery was completely dead. I plugged it back into the charger, and it says "Charging", but the battery indicator is not moving like it did the first time - the indicator is empty, and it just keeps flashing at me.
So now I need to take it back in, and after reading some of the threads on here, I'm wary of getting another v265, as it seems they are a hit-or-miss phone quality-wise. I'm thinking about getting the Nokia 3155i instead, but I wanted to see what people here thought would be the better move.
I don't need a lot of flash or lots of features - I basically use the phone to call my family and friends (I don't do much text messaging, and I only used the camera on the v265 a couple of times for wallpaper for the phone). My biggest needs are reliability, good reception, and good sound quality.
What would you do? I just want the best phone around that price range.
Thanks for the help!
